"Horizon" - Limited Edition Museum Collection Miniature Surfboards

"Horizon" Miniature Surfboards are reproductions of the original sculptures made from resin and wood. Every piece is hand painted by the original artist, Ruben Aira Jr, in oil color. These pieces measure 20.5" x 12.5" and come mounted on a solid wood frame. 

Horizon is the line Hawai‘i lives by — the meeting place of ocean and sky, promise and distance, stillness and motion. Carved from a half surfboard, the work holds the feeling of looking outward from shore, where every day begins with possibility. The surfboard’s curves echo a wave’s rise, while the title anchors the piece in that quiet moment of pause: when you watch the water and imagine what’s beyond it.
