This piece measures 14.5" x 4" and comes mounted on resin. A crucible is where transformation happens – pressure, heat, and force turning one thing into another. Crucible draws on that idea through the surfboard itself: shaped, ridden, marked by impact, then carved into a new identity. This work is a statement of rebirth – surf culture translated into a lasting, sculptural legacy. Each art piece is unique, no two reproductions are the same. Most reproduction art pieces are hand finished by Ruben himself. Made in Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi.
