Hawaiian Reef is a hand-carved mixed media surfboard relief by Hawaiʻi artist Ruben Aira Jr., created from a recycled half surfboard. The work depicts a vibrant underwater reef scene with tropical fish, coral, sea plants, and layered ocean textures, transforming a retired surfboard into a sculptural celebration of Hawaiʻi’s marine life.
