Part of the Relic Series. This piece measures 12.5" x 6" and comes mounted on resin. Inspired by “Mauka” (toward the mountains), this Mauka relic abstracts elevated terrains, ancient paths, and the upward pull of Hawaiʻi’s volcanic peaks, while preserving the surfboard’s weathered story. Although each relic is a reproduction of the original art piece, the individual piece is hand finished by Ruben himself. The resin fusion is unique to each piece. Each art piece is unique, no two reproductions are the same. Most reproduction art pieces are hand finished by Ruben himself. Made in Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi.
