In Heart of Venus, the feminine figure rises through a field of fire — not as something being consumed, but as something becoming.
Throughout Ruben's work, transformation often appears through the elements. Water carries, dissolves, and reveals; fire intensifies, strips away, and remakes. Here, that transformation feels visceral. The figure seems to move through heat and turbulence toward another state, surrounded by gestures and forms that blur the boundary between body, flame, and atmosphere.
The title invokes Venus, but this is less a portrait of a goddess than an exploration of feminine force: beauty joined with resilience, vulnerability joined with power. The heart of the work lies in that threshold — the moment when pressure becomes change and something new begins to emerge.
