In Between reflects the unseen forces that pull us in different directions throughout life. I built the sculpture by hand from opposing curved forms held together by a fragile network of threads, creating tension without allowing either side to fully separate or come together. The work changes as the viewer moves around it; relationships that seem simple from the front become more complex from another angle. For me, it represents the uncertain space between choices, identities, and opposing truths—the place where much of life is actually lived.
