"Northshore" - Limited Edition Museum Collection Miniature Surfboards
“Northshore” Miniature Surfboards are reproductions of the original sculptures made from resin and wood. Every piece is hand-painted by the original artist, Ruben Aira Jr., in oils. These pieces measure 15.5" x 7" and come mounted on wood. Northshore is a tribute to the legendary coastline where surf culture becomes ceremony – winter swells, raw power, and community woven into the landscape. Carved from a full surfboard, the piece carries the presence of the boards that belong to that place: long, strong, built for consequence. More than a location, the North Shore is an identity, and this sculpture honors it as both environment and spirit – where the ocean shapes everything, including the art that rises from it. Each art piece is unique, no two reproductions are the same. Most reproduction art pieces are hand finished by Ruben himself. Made in Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi.
