In Sea Dreams, a feminine figure drifts through luminous blues and sea-green tones, suspended between water, memory, and dream.
There is a quiet sense of surrender in the work. The figure appears neither fully submerged nor fully awake, inhabiting a space where the visible and unseen begin to blur. The ocean becomes more than setting — it becomes atmosphere, emotion, and a passage into the subconscious.
Blending painting with sculptural form, Sea Dreams reflects Ruben’s recurring exploration of the body as a vessel between worlds: between air and water, waking and dreaming, stillness and transformation.
