Awakening is about the moment we begin to recognize who we are beneath everything we have been taught to carry. I carved this work slowly by hand, allowing each layer to lead into the next without forcing the final image too soon. For me, carving is a conversation with the material: removing what is unnecessary until something honest begins to surface. The work reflects transformation not as a sudden event, but as a gradual return to the self—shaped through patience, instinct, and the discipline of the hand.
